My niece Janet and nephew Forest took me to Lake Itasca for a successful launch last Friday. It was such a perfect day. The day before the lake experienced severe thunderstorms in the morning and afternoon, large hail, and severe wind. So I decided to wait a day! Thanks Wynette. Was so excited that first day I could hardly stand it. By the second day I thought I’d died and gone to heaven. It is so beautiful here. Am so looking forward to drifting south and hopefully meeting up with you!
