A nomad, public speaker and itinerant scribbler, Neal Moore is the author of two non-fiction books – Down the Mississippi and Homelands: A Memoir – as well as numerous news articles. His 7,500 mile cross-continent “sea to shining sea” expedition of illumination, considered a first from west to east, was covered by major media around the world. Topps Allen & Ginter honored Moore with a pop culture “Explorer & Writer” baseball card, and the Mark Twain Museum, CNN and The Times of London have dubbed him “the modern-day Huckleberry Finn.”
