I’m currently into Spokane, Washington and headed to Coeur d’Alene, Idaho. You’ve gotta walk a lot of this section of the Spokane River (both in and out of the water) due to dams, falls, logjams and rapids. But man is it beautiful country!

Neal, my wife Darla and I met you as you were getting off the Spokane river. Since then I’ve run into other paddlers that saw you on the lower Columbia and I’ve shared your story with others. There is a paddling network that is following you and enjoying your adventure!
